The University of North Carolina volleyball team lost to Georgia Tech 3-2 (31-33, 30-27, 29-31, 30-28, 13-15) Friday night in Atlanta, Ga. With the loss, the Tar Heels drop to 18-6 overall, 10-3 in the ACC, while the Jackets improve to 15-6, 9-4 in conference action.

Four Tar Heels posted double-doubles for the match -- Laura Greene (18 kills, 28 digs), Nicole Reis (21 kills, 13 digs), Malaika Underwood (10 kills, 15 digs) and Eve Rackham (63 assists, 17 digs).

Krista Buchholz (19 kills) and Holly Strauss (12 kills) also tallied double-digit kills, while Melissa Higgins (11 digs) and Caroline deRoeck (21 digs) posted double-digit digs.

The Jackets were led by Maja Pachale with 28 kills and 17 digs and Kele Eveland with 67 assists and 16 digs.

The Tar Heels are back in action Sunday at 2 p.m. when they travel to Clemson to face the Tigers in an ACC matchup.
