Tar Heels defeat Seminoles 3-1..

Led by outside hitter Nicole Reis' 22 kills, the UNC volleyball team won its third straight ACC volleyball title Sunday afternoon in Tallahassee, Fla. The Tar Heels defeated the host Florida State Seminoles 3-1 (30-20, 30-27, 28-30, 30-23) for the win.
Laura Greene posted 17 kills, 15 digs and three service aces for coach Joe Sagula's club, while Malaika Underwood, named the Tournament's Most Valuable Player, totaled four kills, 14 digs, nine assists and seven block assists for the match. Eve Rackham led the Tar Heels (23-7) in assists with 52 and added 14 digs, as well.
Norisha Campbell led Florida State (17-12) with 18 kills. Alex Sevillano had 17 kills and a match-high 20 digs while Erica Bunch added 10 kills and 19 digs.
After winning the first game 30-20, Carolina rallied to take the second game, 30-27. Down 14-6, the Tar Heels used a 15-6 run that concluded with a kill from Reis to take the lead for good at 21-20.
Florida State, up by as many as nine points in the third game, held off a North Carolina comeback to win 30-28. In game four, Reis had seven kills and Green added six as North Carolina broke an 8-8 tie with a 7-2 run to take control of the game and win the match.
In addition to Underwood, Reis and Krista Buchholz were named to All-Tournament team.
Carolina wraps up the regular season next Saturday when they travel to Columbia, S.C., to face the South Carolina Gamecocks at 2 p.m.
