The University of North Carolina volleyball team lost it's ACC regular season finale Friday, falling to FSU, 3-0 (20-30, 28-30, 24-30). With the loss, the Tar Heels fall to 20-7 overall, 12-4 in the ACC, while the Seminoles improve to 14-11, 9-6 in conference action.
Nicole Reis and Laura Greene each totaled eight kills to lead Carolina. Caroline deRoeck was the only Tar Heel in double-figure kills with 10. Eve Rackham led coach Joe Sagula's squad in assists with 29.
Norisha Campbell led the Seminoles in kills with 17, while Erica Bunch totaled a team-high 12 digs. Jennifer Anderson led the team in assists with 43.
FSU outhit the Tar Heels .270 to .129 for the match.
Carolina is back in action Nov. 16, at the ACC Tournament in Tallahassee, Fla., where the second-seeded Tar Heels will face the seventh-seeded Clemson Tigers at 5 p.m.
